It is generally recommended to microwave food storage containers without the lid. This is because the lid can trap steam and pressure, which may cause the container to warp or the lid to pop off, potentially causing a mess or even injury. Additionally, some plastic lids may not be microwave-safe and could release harmful chemicals when heated. It is best to use a microwave-safe plate or paper towel to cover the container instead. **

A waterproof storage container without a seal could be a simple plastic or metal container with a tight-fitting lid. While it may not provide the same level of air-tightness as Tupperware, it can still be effective for storing non-perishable items or items that do not require an air-tight seal. This type of container is commonly used for organizing items in garages, sheds, or outdoor spaces where moisture may be a concern. It is a more affordable option compared to Tupperware and can be a practical alternative for certain storage needs. **

Potato pancakes and potato fritters are both delicious dishes made with potatoes, but they have some differences. Potato pancakes are typically made with grated potatoes mixed with flour, eggs, and seasonings, then fried until crispy. On the other hand, potato fritters are made by mixing mashed potatoes with flour, eggs, and other ingredients like onions or herbs, then deep-fried until golden brown. Both dishes are tasty, but if you prefer a crispier texture, you might enjoy potato pancakes more, while if you prefer a softer, more doughy texture, potato fritters could be your choice. **

A waterproof food storage container without a seal as an alternative to Tupperware could be a stainless steel or glass container with a locking lid. These containers are designed to be airtight and leak-proof, making them suitable for storing both dry and wet foods. They are also durable and can be used for both storing and reheating food. Additionally, they are a more sustainable option compared to plastic Tupperware. **

It ultimately depends on personal preference and the desired texture. Grated potato pancakes are made with finely grated potatoes and often include other ingredients like onion and egg, resulting in a more delicate and uniform texture. On the other hand, potato fritters are made with coarsely grated or mashed potatoes and may include a variety of other ingredients like flour, herbs, and spices, resulting in a more rustic and chunky texture. Both are delicious options, so it's really a matter of individual taste. **
